Maa Press is planning to publish a series of Sinixt children’s picture books and we are looking for artists to contribute illustrations!
The artists chosen will be paid royalties after the books are produced and selling. Interested artists should send a letter about why you are interested in this work and one or two (ONLY) low-res samples of your work to info@maapress.ca with “childrens book illustrations” in the subject line, by May 31.

We’re pleased to announce that CBEEN, the regional network for environmental education in the Columbia Basin, is now stocking the second edition of Not Extinct: Keeping the Sinixt Way in their Outdoor Learning Store. CBEEN is a charity that encourages environmental stewardship and sustainability in the Canadian Columbia Basin by supporting environmental educators.
